“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus Christ - The Only Sacrifice We Need

“The law gave us only an unclear picture of the good things coming in the future. The law is not a perfect picture of the real things. The law tells people to offer the same sacrifices every year. Those who come to worship God continue to offer those sacrifices.
But the law can never make them perfect. If the law could make people perfect, those sacrifices would have already stopped. They would already be clean from their sins, and they would not still feel guilty. But that’s not what happens.
Their sacrifices make them remember their sins every year, because it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
So when Christ came into the world he said,

“You don’t want sacrifices and offerings, but you have prepared a body for me.
You are not pleased with the sacrifices of animals killed and burned or with offerings to take away sins. Then I said, ‘Here I am, God. It is written about me in the book of the law. I have come to do what you want.’” Psalm 40:6-8 Christ first said,

“You don’t want sacrifices and offerings. You are not pleased with animals killed and burned or with sacrifices to take away sin.” (These are all sacrifices that the law commands.) Then he said, “Here I am, God. I have come to do what you want.”
So God ends that first system of sacrifices and starts his new way. Jesus Christ did the things God wanted him to do.
And because of that, we are made holy through the sacrifice of Christ’s body.

Christ made that sacrifice one time—enough for all time.

Every day the priests stand and do their religious service.

Again and again they offer the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

But Christ offered only one sacrifice for sins, and that sacrifice is good for all time.

Then he sat down at the right side of God. And now Christ waits there for his enemies to be put under his power.

With one sacrifice Christ made his people perfect forever.

They are the ones who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also tells us about this. First he says, “This is the agreement I will make with my people in the future, says the Lord.

I will put my laws in their hearts. I will write my laws in their minds.” Jeremiah 31:33

Then he says, “I will forget their sins and never again remember the evil they have done.” Jeremiah 31:34

And after everything is forgiven, there is no more need for a sacrifice to pay for sins.

And so, brothers and sisters, we are completely free to enter the Most Holy Place. We can do this without fear because of the blood sacrifice of Jesus. We enter through a new way that Jesus opened for us. It is a living way that leads through the curtain—Christ’s body. And we have a great priest who rules the house of God. Sprinkled with the blood of Christ, our hearts have been made free from a guilty conscience, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. So come near to God with a sincere heart, full of confidence because of our faith in Christ. We must hold on to the hope we have, never hesitating to tell people about it. We can trust God to do what he promised.

We should think about each other to see how we can encourage each other to show love and do good works.

We must not quit meeting together, as some are doing.

No, we need to keep on encouraging each other.
This becomes more and more important as you see the Day getting closer.”

BOAST IN GOD’S GRACE FOR YOU

1 Corinthians 1:31

…“He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
If someone asks you, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” you would probably tell him, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved,” wouldn’t you?
Well, a rich, young ruler asked Jesus the same question, but instead of telling him to believe in Him, Jesus gave him the law. (Mark 10:17–22)
Jesus saw that the young ruler lived his life taking pride in his ability to keep the law to earn salvation and the favor of God. But because of His love for the man, Jesus had to show him that those who live by the law must realize that their self-efforts cannot save them.
He therefore reminded him, “You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery…‘Do not steal...‘Honor your father and your mother.’” The young ruler showed that his trust was in his law-keeping when he replied, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”
So Jesus had to tell him, “One thing you lack…sell whatever you have and give to the poor…and come…and follow Me.” When the young ruler heard that, he walked away sorrowful.
When we boast of having kept the law, it will always point out something we lack or have failed to obey. The law is so holy and perfect that if we don’t keep even one iota of it, it has no choice but to judge and curse us. (Galatians 3:10) That is what the law was designed to do.
God does not want us to boast in our abilities to keep the law. If we are to have confidence in anything at all, if we are to boast in anything at all, it is in the grace of God. Only His grace can completely keep, save, heal, deliver and bless us.
So let’s not boast in what we have done or are able to do, but boast in His grace for us—that He is our strength, health, favor, provision, wisdom, hope, salvation and glory. That is how we will see ourselves enjoying our inheritance of abundant life!

Thought For The Day

Only His grace, not our works, can save, keep, heal, deliver and bless us.

James 2:14-17 MSG

Faith in Action
14-17

Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything?

Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it?

For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, “Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!” and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup—where does that get you?

Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?

James 2:14-17 NRSV

Faith without Works Is Dead

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters,[e] if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you?

15 If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food,

16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that?

17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.

James 2:14-17 NLT

Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead

14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?

15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing,

16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

im sad.

Matthew 10:34-42New Living Translation (NLT)

34 “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.

35 ‘I have come to set a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 Your enemies will be right in your own household!’[a]
37 “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. 38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.

40 “Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me. 41 If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God,[b] you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs. 42 And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.”

forgive forever

Matthew 18,
New Living Translation,

"Then Peter came to Jesus
and asked, 'Lord--'"

I can just see Peter,
his chest is out, "Lord."

Maybe he just forgave
Philip or someone.

"Lord, how often
should I forgive someone
who sins against me?
seven times?"
then he look at Philip,

he just forgave Philip
seven times already

in all these three years.

" 'How many times, Lord,
shall I forgive?'

Jesus says, 'no, not Seven
times, But Seventy times Seven!

and please stop counting."

Seventy times Seven means
infinite,

those who understand
Scripture Numerics 'cause
God's number is seven,
it's perfect number.

that means Perfectly Perfect.

Never Stop Forgiving.
